APPROVAL OF THE PROPOSED AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE SCHOOL BOARD OF SARASOTA COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND GMS PARTNERS, INC.
Description
GMS Partners, Inc. will work with Sarasota County Public Schools to bring the Superintendent's NeXt Generation vision to life for the district's high school students and their families; to facilitate the development and implementation of a comprehensive strategy to guide reform in all of the district's high schools; to provide technical assistance and support directly to schools, and to school and district leadership. The term of the agreement is for a period of three years beginning August 1, 2006 through July 31, 2009, with a flat fee of $446,000 due the first year. Payment for year one is due as follows: $111,500 due upon signature and three equal payments of $111,500 due in January 2007, May 2007 and July 2007. Payment for year two and year three will be defined each year in April.
Recommendation
That the proposed agreement between the School Board of Sarasota County, Florida, and GMS Partners, Inc. be approved.
